Creative Artist Intern

About This Role

Alberto Shoes Corporation is seeking a talented Creative Artist Intern to join our dynamic creative team. This is a full-time internship position based in Quezon City, Metro Manila, offering an exceptional opportunity to develop your artistic skills within the advertising, arts and media industry, specifically in art direction. You will work alongside experienced creative professionals, contributing to the visual development and conceptualization of campaigns whilst gaining practical, hands-on experience in a fast-paced creative environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist in the development of visual concepts and artistic direction for advertising campaigns and brand materialsPrepare mood boards, visual references and design presentations for client and internal stakeholder review
• Create sketches, illustrations and digital artwork under the guidance of senior creative professionals
• Support the art direction process by researching design trends, visual styles and competitive landscape analysis
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters and other creative team members to execute creative briefs and campaign concepts
• Prepare mood boards, visual references and design presentations for client and internal stakeholder review
• Assist in the production and refinement of creative assets across multiple platforms and formats
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh creative ideas to ongoing projects
• Learn and apply current design software, tools and industry best practices throughout the internship

Requirements

• Currently studying or recently graduated with a qualification in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Illustration, Visual Communication or a related creative discipline
• Strong foundational knowledge of visual design principles, color theory, composition and typography
• Proficiency in relevant design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), or equivalent tools
• Demonstrated artistic ability through a portfolio of artwork or design projects that showcases your creative style and technical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across creative work
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Ability to take constructive feedback and adapt creative work accordingly
• Passion for advertising, design and creative arts with enthusiasm to learn and grow in the industry
• Preferred experience: Any previous internships, freelance projects or volunteer work in creative or design-related roles
